Healer Galen, taking a break for lunch, decides to go through the Bazaar, which he has not visited for three years. He finds it much the same as he remembers it, generally speaking, and finds that Vielanika Nightsong, the Eeee bard, is still performing there. He approaches, encountering Ranger Lochinvar, and they both listen to her performance. Rawrii runs off after the performance in pursuit of a vermite, while Vielanika chats with Galen about nothing in particular, wandering into Little Babel to find some fruit.
