After a long trek up from Stonebarrow, Tulani, Arkold and Alptraum reach the abandoned church marked on Dunklestein's map. Noticing that the symbols of the Seven Sisters (or Angels, as they're known in Sylvania) are in a different order than the statues in the chapel, they rearrange them and uncover a hidden compartment.

Inside they find a zolk robe with the symbols for Rinala, Srinala and Sunala embroidered on it and the hilt of a ceremonial dagger. In Alptraum's hands, though, it feels like a complete dagger, and the Eeee goes numb wherever the phantom blade touches him. Arkold uncovers a scrap of burnt paper that hints at the knife being used in an exorcism.

After spending the night in the chapel, they take the path heading east and meet up with a larger road. There they come across a burning wagon and signs of a scuffle, and later run into the survivors of an apparent bandit raid on their way to the nearby roadhouse.
