Back at the Merryweather, Burr returns with the cheetah priest he grabbed out of the Titanian riot. A bunch of angry Titanians show up, demanding the two cheetahs be turned over to them. First Son Steelfang – son of Chief Rumble – wishes to fight Burr, to regain his lost "honor" by having his trousers yanked down by the cheetah in the fight. Willow is certain that Steelfang will kill Burr, and does her best to talk her way out of the conflict. She ends up convincing Second Son Chain (the Titanian who had earlier taken her out of the riot on the back of his "motozaki") to act as her "champion" and fight First Son. Second Son is victorious, and Captain Merryweather earns some points with the Titanians (though not as many as he'd be pleased with).

On board the airship, Willow returns to the sick room, and has a conversation with Testament-Blaze about this "Star" that he believes in. Willow defends her beliefs – namely, that there's no such thing as any 'Star', and that her 'good deeds' are entirely for self-serving purposes. The cheetah priest leaves it at that – for now.
