Zahn returns to the castle (after escaping the clutches of Amy and Parsley) and brings a pedal-machine to Clover so she can build back her leg strength. He finds her in the middle of a sponge bath, and ends up helping out with it.

He ends up letting Clover know about his activities with Amy and Parsley, and so Clover becomes all frisky, even while acknowledging her limited stamina.

She lets Zahn know that she hears singing in her dreams, although she can't seem to remember it clearly, and Zahn agrees to stay the night with her to see his presence helps.
