Wanting to do something special for Amelia, Zahn heads into Blacktail territory and runs into her brother Caddel and cousin Elsbeth. He learns that Amy likes to be groomed, and chats a bit about Amelia's father as well.

On the way out, he's stopped by a brown lapi who gives him some fresh strawberries and some more advice, from personal experience with Amy.
