After getting back from the underground tunnels, Amy seeks out Elsa while Zahn catalogs Clover's designs and the things they brought back with them. She finds the elder Kadie napping in Stephan's cabin, and wakes her up as gently as possible.

Amy shows Elsa the pendant, and the woman admits that it looks like the work of her late son. With a little prodding, she gets it to unfold into a completely different shape which has some slots and openings in the center. She thinks it's probably the key to Stephan's secret workshop.

Curious, Amy wonders if it was really meant for her to find, and Elsa suggests that Stephan may be testing her himself, to see if she can locate the workshop. Amy has an idea about how the key works as a map, but needs to do a bit of work in order to test it.
