Anisa visits a Caroban shop where she and Spring Meadow are fitted for new outfits, aided by powers of illusion – an illusion is used to conjure up a mannequin that looks exactly like Anisa, and as she offers suggestions, an illusory outfit is modified and displayed on the mannequin. At last, this is finished with a "tactile fitting", where Anisa gets to experience what it would be like to wear the final product. Very enthusiastic about the experience, she heads out and can hardly wait to tell Spring Meadow about her new attire…
