Galen, still dreaming of his quest in the Tower of Celesti, is joined again by Wynona, though Randle fails to make an appearance this time around. Still uncertain of the right course of action to take with the water elemental, they elect to go on up to the next level – which they rightly guess to be aligned with the element of earth. This is the bedroom, where they find a statue holding a glowing diamond – evidently, the earth elemental, holding the final gem. They examine the room and find some books on a desk, and they have an unpleasant encounter when Galen sits on the bed – and the sheets attack him! Wynona fires off a hasty spell to stun the sheets, but it takes a lot out of her, and Galen helps her back down the stairs to recuperate. Down at the bottom of the tower, they decide to look over the books they found to try to find more clues before they take their next action.
