Awakening in simulated space after being ambushed by the light-based mind-machine interface, Tasha, Layth and Gabriel speak at length with the librarian and learn they are in a repository for Silent One cultural information. Collecting what they find relevant, and asking questions as they go, Tasha and Layth engage in some accelerated learning while Gabriel keeps an eye on things. When all is said and done, the group proceeds to explore what is left of the temple, only to find the empty stasis chamber of none other than Keeper-of-Artifacts. Seeing pictures of the man's family incenses Tasha, who feels his sabotage robbed Nora of her own chance at the same. She exits, followed by Gabriel, who manages to calm her down before they finish up their explorations and ultimately exit the building. With the temple finished, they pick a new target: the mysterious glassy structure nearby.
