Olivia is picked up by Amy and led to the bunker where the trap is being set – although she and Olivia keep up the ruse that they're going to see Zahn.

Once inside, Olivia can speak freely and explains that she's supposed to meet Valicross once she goes back home to tell him the way here. She and Amelia talk about what she should do once the trap is sprung, and agrees to try and close the iron doors on them if she can.

In the hidden back room, Natasha starts a ritual with Axel to see if he can break the spirit-bond the necromancer has on her. During the ritual, however, Valicross manifests and tries to take Natasha's spirit. In a last ditch effort to thwart him, she passes her energy to Axel instead, who attacks Valicross and drives him out of the ritual.

Both Natasha and Axel are drained afterwards and need to rest.
