In the Nordikan country of Sinha, the earth mages Envoy and Iona explore the port city of Tsun-Lao, encountering Feli ("Jynx") and Eve Kurai. They chat a bit, then visit a fortune teller. Envoy and Eve have their fortunes told, though Jynx yawns frequently, displaying his boredom with the whole affair.
