Olivia returns to the underground bunker to let everyone know about Valicross' plan to attack the next morning, and her observation that he might be still recovering from the spirit attack during the earlier ritual.

Liliana comes in to report that she's found a ring of trees surrounding the town that are marked with mysterious symbols, and shows rubbings of them to Natasha. After some research, the former mage says she thinks they are part of a giant weather ritual to provide cover for Valicross' movements and those of any minions.

Tensions are high as those stuck in the bunker begin to go stir-crazy.
