Piper goes back to the Blackrock Hostelry, and finds Torn-Ear and his associates there, enjoying a meal, while the innkeeper looks far more reserved about the whole arrangement. Piper learns more about the Blood Kings, but has his reservations about whether enlisting the Shadow Wolves for "protection" is such a good idea after all.
