After suddenly finding she had slept through most of Nora, Fred, and Mariel's independence testing, Tasha apologizes before having a few words with Mariel. Mariel's advice sends her to find the one member of the surviving Karnor Elite not on board: Dr. Caravelli. Through him, she hopes to gain insights in to Gabriel's problems, in order to find some way to comfort her suffering mate. On the way she checks on her microshaard project, then runs in to Aaron who happens to be siting with a mage. In short order Tasha is saddled with the mage as a guide to the missing Caravelli, taking her to the Ajax, and to a roomed with not one mage, but two. A heated reunion takes place as Tasha's oversensitivity to mages distorts their worlds, but the psychologist comes to Tasha's aid, ushering out wher they can talk. In the lounge, Tasha and Caravelli discuss many things. Both are glad to see the other well and soon they settle in to a relaxing talk. In the end, he urges her to work on understanding others, and helps her understand the need to relax.
