At the arranged time and place, Inaya and Natasha meet. Things start out tense, as Inaya clearly disapproves of Natasha and is only there for information about her sister.

Natasha tells the story of how Tasha survived and was rescued by the gypsies, and nursed back to health despite the risk she represented to them. Eventually, when the dying matron asked her to look after the tribe, she accepted. Natasha reveals herself and Inaya embraces her, but demands to know why she let them think she was dead for all of those years.

Natasha explains about the threat from the high-ranking courtier, and how now Mage Qing can help keep Inaya and Kalila safe while the man is dealt with.

Natasha then asks Olivia to have the gypsies prepare a party, to show Inaya that the people of Sylvania can celebrate as well.
