Alptraum, Tulani, Arkold, Ravenia and Mave are brought to a small camp where they meet Agatha's comrades: Clancy the Rhian and Squeaky the vampire bat (who was raised by wild Chibix). Phlagaea greets Alptraum enthusiastically, and Lilith and Squeaky return from hunting.

Gathered around the campfire, they all discuss various topics, and Alptraum takes Mave aside to make sure she's doing okay after having her faith challenged in the Light.

There is a bit of discussion about religion as practiced in Draco County, and about the mysterious 'Magic Cheese' they will be using to traverse the dangerous Wallace Woods.
