Envoy and Mystery make it into Paradise, the home of Inala within her dream realm. She is applauded for her "cleverness" in winning the "race" against Elise. Envoy reverts to appearing as her true self, and is accompanied by a draconian creature that in some ways resembles a male version of herself, though with a clearly Babelite outlook on things.
