Alptraum has some practice with manipulating the shadow gauntlet. Namely, how to 'retract' it for a short time and make his hand appear normal. He has little success, but with Kaira's help, he is able to retract it some. The orb, though, remains unchanged and moves very slowly; is appears to be deeply embedded in his hand.
