With Aisha and Calligenia off to take care of their own business issues, Anisa hires on a temporary secretary named Jasmine, a Naga. The Lapi is feeling a bit overwhelmed by paperwork and trying to turn a profit, when a Gallee woman sees her about renting space for her social club's workout training – with their own special trainer, Klaus.

Anisa agrees to meet to with the club's coordinator, Miss Hargett, later. Then she has to deal with her brother Benjamin, who has hurt his hand on the punching bag trying to work out his frustrations. He delivers a message from Aaron that he, Calli and Aisha are going to Amazonia, and not to expect any of them back soon. Benjamin is upset that they left without him, since he had a thing for Calligenia. Anisa consoles him, and manages to dissuade him from following the advice of his older brother Tyson, who is a bit of a rake.

Tammie Hargett arrives later and fills Anisa in on the details of the club's requirements, and warns her that their trainer can be a bit temperamental if things aren't just right. Anisa does her best to make sure everything is ready in time.
