After getting new clothes, the group visits a jewelry stall. Alptraum notices a 'good luck' bracelet there and further examination shows it to be the work of a gypsy from his tribe, with an inscription naming the town it was made in: Monte Castleon, somewhere near the center of Draco County.

When he asks for jewelry suggestions from the women, Mave suggests a nose ring 'for attaching a leash'. Eventually, he settles on some colored earstuds selected by Phlagaea and Tulani, and a smaller ivory-and-amber earring chosen by Mave.

Lilith says she'd like to think about what would best remind Alptraum of her. Alptraum also buys the ivory Khatta-tail bracelet to play a joke on Arkold with later on.
