At Nicodemus' Shiny Shoppe, Zoltan works on cleaning up the place, as Pouncer gets home from the Temple Scouts. Zoltan meets a Vartan refugee from the Himar region, Koro Kreeyah, who was wounded in a confrontation with a Plaguebringer, and can no longer fly. Zoltan offers Koro an opportunity to work at the Shiny Shoppe, since he could use the help, and wishes to help a 'brother' in need. Some Jupanis come calling, questioning Zoltan about some Savanite goings-on … and Zoltan receives an invitation from Jezebel to her coronation at the City of Hands. Zoltan also gets paid a visit from an apologetic Envoy … and a Skeek who offers him a book titled 'The Sylvanian Heresy'.
