Anisa and her family swing by Aaron's place after the fireworks for a party. Anisa meets Meg, Aaron's physical therapist, and learns yet more about his misadventures and multiple injuries. Downstairs, she is introduced to Kelsey von Kabril, one of the Fire mages that participated in the fireworks display, and she also gets to chat with Meg and Spring Meadow. (Anisa learns that Brom is Meg's husband.) After the party, Anisa stays behind to help clean up the party, and she and Aaron timidly bounce back and forth the idea of going out to supper some time for a date.
