After leaving Natasha and Inaya to their privacy, Olivia heads to her room to dig up a bunch of baubles and ribbons and fabric to use for party decorations. She fills two big bags, and then starts carrying them across town to the gypsy camp. Since this is Olivia, she doesn't get very far before being interrupted.

Curiel Briar stops her to find out what she's doing, and Olivia tells her about the party. This gets overheard by Emmett Oggton, who comes up and offers his services as a party expert (and also to carry one of Olivia's sacks). Grudgingly, Olivia lets him tag along.

At the camp, they're passed by Djivan and some socks that have gone supercritical, and end up at Liliana's wagon, where Miranda has been helping to compose some music for the dancers. Olivia talks about he party and asks for Lili's help with the entertainment (since otherwise it might just be Emmett's jug-band). She also asks Miranda if she'd be willing to play, and the shy Lapi agrees, since some of Lili's confidence has been rubbing off on her.

Emmett describes some typical otter party games, and asks if Liliana can make him look more 'catty' with her fur dyes. This gives Lili an excuse to distract the otter, so that Olivia and Miranda can go get the dancers to help with decorations.
