As people gather for breakfast, they hear from Lilith that Ravenia has gone up to the solar with painting supplies, even though the Eeee had never seen the woman try to paint before. Curious, the group brings breakfast for Raven up to the room, and gets a look at her paintings.

Raven is very gruff with everyone. She's painted a necklace, some ruins, and a strange star-headed winged stick-figure symbol. Alptraum asks her name, and Raven replies with 'Brindle'. The possessing spirit insults Tulani, and starts Raven heading towards the door when Alptraum grabs her by the shoulder. Brindle immediately vanishes, leaving a very stunned and confused (and hungry) Raven. Lilith says that Raven always had to return to Vorgulremik before to have the spirits removed.

They return to the great hall to find the dragon waiting for them, and after the usual bit of bickering Alptraum confirms the pictured necklace is probably the one stolen from Eve Kurai. The dragon explains that it's being used to brainwash the sorcerer's minions so they won't hesitate to kill themselves to create blood monsters. The ruins and the figure are the only other clues he could salvage from the captured berserker's mind.

Strategy is discussed, and it's decided that Alptraum and Tulani will try to scout out the ruins while Arkold and the dragon act as a diversion.
