Envoy wakes up from her dream of being in Paradise, and finds herself in Caroban, amidst several mages that had been trying to awaken her from a comatose state. She learns from Iona that Jaffi has been cured of the possession by the alien spirit that had taken control of him earlier. She then visits a Fnerf (vulpitaur) dream mage by the name of Yffryn, and tells her about her adventures in the dream realms.
