As a continuation of Ophelia's strange plan to dissuade the Gallisians from taking her homeland, one of her subjects impersonates Ophelia, and spins a yarn about a curse that causes one to lose one's "natural good looks" every other day … and for parts to occasionally fall off. The two poodles, horrified by all the strangeness, flee for their lives.
