While in charge of the kidnapped Eve, Arkold takes Eve to the Vial Phial Tavern; they manage to miss running into Jynx. A Kavi bearing a sack of rocks comes in before Azure can ask more than a question about things, and offers Arkold a share in their find – a gold strike down on the surface of Sinai. Eve doesn't like the Kavis and wants to get out, and Arkold reluctantly settles the tab. Fenter arrives, and the Kavi nearly sell him on a share of the prospect, until Azure gets a hold of one of the rocks and finds (thankfully) that it's not gold after all.
