Weary and bleary, Olivia makes her way towards town from Dontgointhe Castle, after having been up all night and not remembering when she last ate or slept, and still trying to work out how to get the cataloged remains of Valicross' victims back to their respective families.

Of course, her walk is interrupted by Gunther, who demands that she prove who she is, since he hasn't seen her for awhile and things she may be a doppleganger belonging to Sylvania Jack's army.

Olivia reminds Gunther of something she did when she caught him spying, and that's good enough. Gunther wants to know why she's been avoiding him then, and she explains about helping Mage Qing deal with breaking down Valicross' staff.

Amelia shows up, heading towards the castle, and demands to know if Gunther was involved in Aiken Briar waking up with his clothes stolen. She then chats with Olivia and gets a rundown of what happened with the staff, including Buffy's appearance.

The two girls then shoo Gunther off to talk about other things – such as that Amy has a place in mind where Olivia and Djivan can relax and have plenty of privacy… so long as they watch out for trolls.
