Returning to her cabin, Olivia finds out about the ironwood door that's been buried beneath her bed. Zahn keeps digging around it so that it can be opened, and Amy tries to keep Olivia from dwelling on the implications by asking her about her encounter with Emmett.

Olivia reveals Gunther's task, which the Kadie boy renounces of course.

Once the door is opened, they all venture down some stone stairways to find a tunnel similar to those beneath the castle: smooth walls and with a 'marker' gargoyle like a spiked creen. There is also a makeshift shelf full of items from Olivia's childhood that her mother had thrown out or tried to destroy.
