Chiaroscuro leaves Haskalah's care with a special device that will counter his skullbuzz. He and Envoy discuss the future, and delve a bit into religion and personal purpose. At the Bazaar, they meet up with Jynx and Wyn. After Envoy makes (predictably confusing) introductions, Chia offers to tutor Jynx in dance as a way to handle the kit's awkwardness so he can return home without being too much of a hindrance to the family business.
