Alptraum takes Snow to Mave and introduces them. while the two then work on a potion, Alptraum goes and 'tends' to his fox friend. And by tending, it means Alptraum puts a fake nose ring on the poor fox! He then heads back to check on Mave and Snow, who seem to be getting along fine. So … he leaves her with Mave!

Alptraum then heads to the suite and works on his own appearance. after several failed attempts at making his right arm loon normal, Alptraum calls in a servant and requests black fur dye. In comes Millie and she helps dye his right arm back to black. Joking, Alptraum offers to let her watch him dress … which only serves to scare the poor girl! It also ends up meaning Alptraum has to explain to Millie and Rosalind that, no, he wasn't trying to seduce her.

Alptraum then helps Rosalind pick out her attire; something elegant but not too formal or expensive-looking. He also uses this time to discuss with her the matter of Melusine and being imprinted with Rosalind's own body. Rosalind actually thinks this is a good idea, as it would allow Alptraum to mimic her when needed. The discussion ends with Alptraum bringing up the subject of the transformed hogs … and she agrees to allow them to have a peaceful death. Either by consumption by Melusine (if their minds are gone), or by another method if they retain some of their original mind.
