Alptraum is interviewed by Countess Draco's Shadow Dragon. He was nervous … and rightly so. The Countess' Shadow Dragon is at full power, unlike the one he faced … and very sane. He learns her name is Melusine, and is for good or bad, known to Kaira … and Kaira to her. Somehow, against all odds, Melusine ends up accepting Alptraum as a valid consort for the Countess … and even agrees to mentor him in the ways of the Shadow Dragons. Whether that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen, however.
