After spending the night with Liliana, Morgan tries (unsuccessfully) to sneak back into his house without his mother noticing but since she's right there on the porch, he has to come out and face her.
Isolde knows all about his affair with the gypsy, and laments that he didn't choose a local girl instead, but doesn't begrudge the relationship. Morgan asks her if Lili can visit, since she's been wanting to meet his parents which also brings up the question of just who Morgan's father is.
Isolde tells him about the divination ritual she performed as a girl to determine which of her suitors would be the right one. Instead, her vision was of a swarm of creens coming together to form a kadie man and that when she came to at the end of the ritual, she was pregnant. This upsets Morgan a bit, along with the knowledge that not every witch is able to turn into a creen, just him!
He mentions Liliana's transformation after drinking his blood, and Isolde nearly faints and warns Morgan that their shared supernatural nature may lead to pregnancy.
After calming down, talk turns to furthering Morgan's witchcraft training as well as getting a hold on his own self-doubts.
