Alptraum finds Tulani in the castle's exercise room, and asks how the Sphynx is doing since he heard from Lilith that she's been a bit mopey. Tulani admits that she misses having Arkold around and generally hanging out with Alptraum.

After catching up on a few things, the two decide to get a drink. In town, Alptraum brings Tulani to 'The Dead Inn', a macabre-themed establishment. The drinks have cute 'themed' names, and Tulani gets a heavy dragon-themed beer called 'Unending Lust' while Alptraum goes for the wine and blood drink called 'The Mortician's Waste'.

After putting up with lots of innuendo and subtle insults (aimed at Alptraum) from the barkeep, the pair find a table. They are waited on by a hunch-backed Skreek – another Igor. Tulani orders a spit-grilled fish called 'Impaler's Delight' and the two settle down to relax and get the night started.
