Rory awakens to find that Skiree is missing. He inquires with Mage Latania about her whereabouts and then goes searching for her on his own. The Aeonan finds her huddled up in the back of the bar near some grakar pits, crying. Skiree tells Rory that she's been ordered to return to her master in Ashod until the war between Babel and Rephidim has played itself out. Rory on the other hand is unable to return to Rephidim because of increasted raids upon airships entering the sky island. Instead the ship is bound for the strange continent of Lamu.
