Kensington, charged with pursuing a band of Titanians on their trek across the countryside, follows them to the lands of Himar. The barbarians have set up a camp at the base of some red cliffs in Himar, and Kensington watches as they send a giant bug-like machine climbing up the cliff face. Kensington also spies an incoming airship, which discharges a lone black-feathered avian.
