Taking advantage of Violette's presence, Envoy is able to encode the important inertial-compensation enchantments into the interior steel structure of the Gravy Boat, while Icarus and Walter work on reinforcing the engine mounts and installing the newly tested gravity propulsion systems.

During the process, Envoy's ritual crystals ask if they should access the nearby interface in order to boost performance – and Envoy figures out the interface mentioned is in Icarus! She stops the crystals, instructing them to only use the local boost provided by Violette.

Once the initial work is done, they all make preparations to visit New Zion and order the other parts and materials they need to finish the ship.
