On board an airship bound for Rephidim, Iona – a Jupani Earth Mage – approaches Envoy on the deck, and resumes a conversation that was broken off earlier. She asks Envoy about her origins, and they discuss magic on Sinai – and Envoy's knowledge about it. Iona suggests that Envoy might be tested for magical potential in the College Esoterica, and that such a test might be arranged. Envoy is quite pleased at this turn of events.
