Galand is released from the Temple after the incident at Lucky's, Envoy is along with him; Nearby, Fenter the Skygod and Choas mage is eating. The three meet up and Fenter agrees to give Galand a ride in Exchange for drinks. The Rath'ani is also not very responsive to Envoy's questions about his latest adventures.
At the Three Thieves in, they are confronted by Wyckyd and his minions. He taunts his "Arch Nemithith", trying to get Fenter to guess what his new masterful plan is. The raccoon offers several interesting suggestions, while his minions chase Wyckyd's; Envoy and Galand don't play along with Fenter's new status. Eventually the Eee leaves.
Inside the Three Thieves Inn, the foppish fox is singing about the recent events he's seen. Envoy tries to question Fenter some more; Fenter gets drunk and raves and rambles. Galand pinches Zsofi's bum, and the destroyer of civilizations reacts badly to it. The khatta with the extreemly long tail turns his attentions to Buran, who is also there. Unfortunately, the sphinx technopriest doesn't remember how he helped her when she was ill earlier. Fenter is thrown out, the foppish fox is thrown out, and Buran passes out. Galand leaves, wondering why he always finds the strange ones.
