Piper meets a feline by the name of Cynthia, who claims to be a "friend" of Torn-Ear's, and who seems awfully eager to thank Piper for his work at "Eeeeat Up!" April, the innkeeper's daughter, appears to be disgusted at Cynthia's brazen act of being overly "friendly" with Piper. Piper seems to be happy at the attention, and unsure of how to react to it. Cynthia invites Piper to a party – in Darkside – and leaves. April struggles to explain just why she was disgusted with Cynthia's antics, but Piper's die-hard naivete makes this difficult. At last, April remembers seeing a silver creen, and offers to show Piper where it is … as it might make a nice gift for Kassie, if caught.
