Zoltan takes Taliamelle and Pouncer to a concert put on by the Temple, as a Temple Scout rally. The Cobalt and Magenta Lances provide entertainment (and propaganda) for the cubs and kits, and considerable volume. Afterward, Zoltan approaches the Champion of Roses to ask her about Cloud-Mark, and learns of the Champion's story – and gets a better idea of just WHY the Champion would be interested in Taliamelle and Pouncer
