While Tulani is off helping Ravenia, Lilith takes the two men to her room, which is the keep's old chapel. There she asks Alptraum flat-out if he is the child of a Srinala, and admonishes him to never talk about this part of his past in the presence of Vorgulremik.
The white Eeee explains that in Sylvanian lore, the Barsunala is a single entity that occasionally reincarnates as a living being. He has the power to move the spirits of people to and from living beings or objects, and to dispell posessing spirits from the bodies of others (including the undead).
Lilith claims that Alptraum and Vorgulremik's powers are very similar, and that the dragon would want to capture Alptraum's soul to enhance his own abilities if he found out. She also feels certain that Alptraum can defeat Vorgulremik at some point, but she doesn't know how and thinks he's not ready yet in any case.
It turns out that Vorgulremik uses Ravenia as the occasional host for one of his captive souls, which the elfin woman never remembers. From talking with these visitors, Lilith has figured out that the dragon prefers to devour immortals, is far older than his physical age implies and can only be stopped by capturing his soul.
She also has suspicions about why the group is here, not readily believing it all to be coincidence. The three talk about the role of the sorcerer in all of this, and Arkold and Alptraum give some of their reasons for being here. Things wind down as Lilith agrees to help Alptraum improve his dancing, after revealing that she is actualy a member of the Draco family, being held hostage as insurance against attacks.
