Kaela confers with Icelight, her "tester" and mentor, about their plans for "seeing the world". A messenger approaches Kaela, letting her know that Janus has been found and is outside the City, but Kaela is reluctant to give him entrance. Ultimately, Janus is allowed in anyway – by Jezebel's decision. Upon hearing a recognizeable voice, Jynx walks over to Jezebel and Janus to introduce himself, but soon leaves when he realizes that Janus and Jezebel are far from friends with each other.
