In Olympia, Willow gets off of the poodles' ship with Burr and Thorn. She is uncomfortable with the poodles, and fears that they may be aiming to dump her off the ship and keep Burr and Thorn to themselves, or perhaps that they might simply pass by Diamante without stopping as promised. She has Burr go fetch their baggage off the ship, while she pays a visit to the Oracle of Primus, and gives the old lioness some flowers by way of apology for her earlier behavior the last time Willow was here.
Willow then visits the Pantheon, where she leaves a written message for Dagh, and some flowers at the feet of his statue. Back outside, she finds Burr and Thorn waiting for her, trying to eat some cheap (and chewy) sandwiches. They observe a dance of some Katthas dressed as the various gods and goddesses of the Olympian pantheon, and Willow, on a whim, decides to walk after the dancer who was portraying Dagh.
The dancers and their escorts file out to the shrines of the various gods and goddesses, and thus Willow is led up to the Temple of Dagh. There, she finds Prince Dack, and confronts him about the death of the maid in Kroz. Dack soon displays that he has a few problems with his sanity and/or his soul, and at last passes out. Willow has Burr haul him off to find an inn, or his wagon.
