Layth, Tasha, and Aaron journey to Kerebos Keep in search of advice from Lucia on the Gash of Fenris, only to receive that and more. The Gash of Fenris is revealed to be the source of the unusual 'skymetal' prized by the Amazonians, as well as armor made from the same, forged in a village far in to the snowy mountains. Several Kerebos Keep members agree to assist the expedition, including Lucia, a number of Vykarins who'll act as the party's mounts, and a selection of both Warriors and Guardians eager for adventure. As the meeting comes to a close, Layth spars with Euphrosyne, gaining the older Warrior's respect, while Tasha is introduced to Eadwig, her mount, who takes to Aaron like a dog takes to a bone.
