At Castle Dack on the evening before Ring Day, festivities are in progress. Willow pigeonholes Sebazhan's sister, Kassy, under pretext of finding her a drink and "chatting" a bit. In the wine cellar, Willow points out that Kassy is supposed to be Sebazhan's older sister … yet she seems to be in her twenties … and she only shows up on holidays, just like Ariel. Kassy is about to leave, but Willow pleads with her to stay, insisting that this won't affect her standing as part of the family. Kassy confesses that, yes, she is "the" Kasaris, and explains her relation to the Dack family, and how she came about to take on the role of Sebazhan's "big sister".
