Alptraum, accompanied by Madame Garou (a Jupani innkeeper acting as translator), visits the cheetah thief, Autumn-Storm, where she is being imprisoned under Blackshire Keep. He asks her a few questions about what she remembers about the night previous, and what she knows of her attacker. Sheriff Darken, however, cuts this visit short, as he has preparations to make for the day's festivities. On the way back to town, Alptraum asks Madame Garou her opinions on Autumn-Storm, and she brings up the topic of possible employment at the Blackshire Inn.
