Inside the Airship known as the Crystal Breeze, Rory and Skiree wake and make themselves ready to go get breakfast. Skiree takes longer and finally Rory decides (with some help from Skiree and Silhouette) to just go to the mess hall and get his own meal first. There he encounters a foxtaur (a Fnerf), and later after Skiree returns, a lizard being (a Niton)who claims to have a dragon for a mother.
