Tulani finds herself as a pirate, attacking the very ship she served on in the real world – and under the command of her real father, the pirate captain. She rejects it all, and as it fades out she meets Nala.

As with Arkold, Nala quizzes Tulani on certain notions, clarifying the Sphynx's goals and hopes, and making her think a little more clearly about her situation.
