Envoy visits Arch-Inquisitor Melchizedek in his new office in the Temple, where she asks him several questions while he is examining an artifact. Melchizedek in turn asks Envoy about her behavior during the incident in which she impersonated him some time ago. Regarding the incident with the demonic "Chiga" in the Nagai Empire, Melchizedek agrees to release to Envoy a copy of the report filed by Dean Malthus of the School of the Sphere of Mind.
